Cute, Comfortable and Charming

We just had the pleasure of staying in this adorably cute, comfortable and charming one bedroom apartment. There was plenty of room for myself and my two tween/teen kids. The apartment is beautifully equipped with all the necessary amenities, wifi, tv, (we were visiting during Euro 2016) refrigerator, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, plenty of bedding for the comfortable double bed in the bedroom and the pullout sofa in the living room, which was also very comfortable, and plenty of towels in the bathroom. I have to agree with many of the comments made here, that the apartment is more charming and inviting than the photos show. We all were very impressed and felt the welcoming home atmosphere the minute we arrived. Not only did we have very comfortable and restful sleep each night, but we also spent some time relaxing between playing tourist at the Louvre or climbing to the top Arc de Triomphe in this charming home, and a home was how it felt during our stay. There was plenty of room to unpack, hang and store our belongings and just spend some downtime relaxing. I also must agree with all the positive reports for Carlos and Maria. Carlos was very welcoming and prompt for our arrival, answered our questions and was wonderful taking a little time talking with my teen in her newly learned second language of French. It was unexpectedly hot they day after we arrived and Maria promptly responded to my email and arranged for the air conditioner to be set up for us, the kids especially felt the heat those few days of unexpected slightly higher temperatures, and the air conditioner was much appreciated to cool the apartment slightly before going to sleep. The location of this apartment was fantastic and the availability and convenience of the patisserie, creamery, grocery store, the cute clothing and tourist stores plus the many restaurants all very, very close by was fun and amazing. We dined for at least one meal each day on the Isle and not a single bad meal was found. I have nothing but good things to say about the apartment, location, nearby facilities and both Maria and Carlos, and wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.

We loved our stay here on isle Saint Louis, I have stayed here before in hotels which were lovely , but the rooms were tiny and expensive . This apartment solved all the problems it is the best location in Paris . Right next door to Notre dame on a most exclusive island. We are surrounded by a boulangerie across the road, a fromagerie a little supermarket next door. Perfect. The apartment is light and airy . It's really comfortable and warm. The security is excellent .
The kitchen is all you require and bathroom excellent .
Everything was perfect . Marie is wonderful , and responds quickly to all your questions.
I cannot recommend more highly

Exactly as described, Maria and Carlos always available to answer any queries. Next door to supermarket, lots of restaurants in the vicinity, short walk to the Metro and buses. Will use again.
Apartment is located on a very beautiful street. We were able to walk to many places including the nearby metro stations very easily. Apartment is packed with facilities that made our stay very pleasant. Carlos provided great tips on the day when we arrived, besides helping us bring the luggage upstairs. All of this was possible only because Maria is there in the background, with her very prompt assistance through email, each of those filled with great advise and input.
We went through all of the reviews by previous visitors and that was very helpful. No review would be complete without a request to eat at Berthillon at least once, the food was so delicious (3-cheese crepe was heavenly) and the service was clearly by the far the best we received during our stay in Paris.
A few other notes follow. Whoever visits the Monoprix supermarket, almost anyone would be I guess, bring enough backpacks to bring home the food and other items, as that way, we can easily share the burden among the family members. The other suggestion would be to purchase a Paris City Map before leaving for the trip, as it took a while for me to buy one locally, and understand how to use it. The last suggestion, if your stay happens to be during the winter, would be to shut the glass door to bedroom completely, and turn down the heat all the way to the lowest setting inside the bedroom; instead wear enough layers, and use the comforters as necessary. This is to keep the amount of dry heat to the minimum thereby increasing the comfort at night; this is because the house does not have a humidifier built as part of the HVAC system.
The two apartments are next door to each other. We stayed in each for part of our month and recommend both. The location is fabulous and feels very safe. The grocery downstairs is a real bonus. Both Maria (who arranges things from her office in Canada) and Carlos (who met us to let us in and answered questions) were very helpful and flexible. You go up 1 floor on an easy, clean stairway -- you can also take the elevator but we didn't bother except when dealing with the luggage.
The 1-bedroom apartment is in the interior of the building, tastefully decorated and spacious enough that you could consider a short stay with more than 2 people. The convertible couch is in the "living room". This gives more privacy than the Studio's "one room" arrangement. This unit is --very-- quiet except when it is raining hard or the bells of Notre Dame are in full swing. We saw an air conditioner but we didn't use it. The 1-bedroom has a standard shower but no tub or bidet. The kitchen is well-equipped and fully functional but we just microwaved things and didn't bother to really cook because there were so many good places to eat.
We stayed for a week in the one-bedroom apartment for the first week in July. This was our first time renting an apartment instead of staying in a hotel, and we loved everything about it. Location-wise, it could not have been better. Very easy to get just about anywhere from there. the apartment itself had everything we needed and was charming. We stayed during Paris' hottest time in the last 60 years, so the air conditioner really came in handy! We slept on the sofa bed, for the most part, since it was right next to the A/C. Very comfortable bed. The other bed was good too. Everything was in good working order and we had no trouble with anything at all.
Maria was great to deal with and very responsive to my constant emails. Carlos met us at the apartment and was a great guy who was very helpful. The price was great, and we got our security deposit back within a few days of returning home.
We loved our trip, and we look forward to being in Paris again. We would not hesitate to rent this apartment again. It was like actually living in Paris for just a short time.
